Part-Time Customer Service Agents
Customer Service Agents work as part of a team to resolve customer telephone queries and enhance customer experience by consistently exceeding their expectations. We are committed to providing 100% satisfaction to our members as well as a rewarding and friendly environment for our employees. Awards and recognition are a consistent theme throughout the TalkTalk. corporate philosophy, not just annually, but on a day-to-day basis across all areas.
This is apparent through various formal activities and endeavours that the company undertakes across the business, but is also particularly clear in the social aspects of life at TalkTalk.
Each year, the Communications Department organises two flagship company events, the Summer and Christmas Parties. Christmas is serious business in TalkTalk.: in addition to the much talked about Christmas Party, each department runs a Kris Kindle with a limit of €10 per head,a free Christmas lunch is provided to all in the canteen and the centre itself becomes festooned in decorations as each department vies to outdo the other with the gaudiest of baubles.
Promoting team spirit is part of life here and on an annual basis the business provides a generous budget to provide for individual team building events for everyone in Waterford. Teams then select from a range of activities, including karting, sailing, horse riding, going to the theatre, nights out, bowling or visiting the Dunmore East Adventure Centre for a range of activities. This helps everyone to get to know his or her fellow team members in a non-working setting. Within the team setting, team leaders also frequently organise team nights out and activities, with the support of the wider organisation.
We also have a very active sports and social club, and with 460 active members, this demonstrates the commitment of staff to socialise and interact with each other outside of company hours. In the past the club, which is subsidised by the company, has organised some fantastic events:
A family fun day takes place every Summer with races, face painting and bouncy castles. . The club hosts a range of parties for staff, including: the Valentine's Ball, Back to School night, Halloween fancy dress party and a Kids Christmas Party.
Having recently won Best Community Spirit regional final of the Contact Centre World Awards we understands we have a responsibility to the community in which we operates and have a clear Corporate Social Responsibility in place to ensure community spirit is promoted at every opportunity. We work hard to establish links with the local community and last year employees donated over 650 hours in voluntary work to the community and €36,000 in community funding.
The list of celebrations and social activities that take place at TalkTalk is endless, from free massages in the centre and chocolate fountains to hosting in-house X-Factor competitions, so check out some pics above and let them do the talking.
