AOL Broadband Celebrates 10 Years in Style! Back to Media Releases

AOL Broadband celebrated 10 years in Waterford recently with a masked ball for it’s employees at a specially constructed marquee in Whitfield Sports Grounds.

AOL Broadband started operations with just 30 employees in 1998 and has grown steadily over the last 10 years and now employees 800 people locally.

Heather Roche, Director of Performance & Customer Experience, “This is a major milestone for the company and something we wanted to celebrate with our employees. We started out a small operation have grown the site to where it’s now the largest and best performing contact centre in the TalkTalk Group.”

n 2007, AOL Broadband won Contact Centre of the Year, awarded by the Contact Centre Management Association. “The award and this milestone is a testament to the success of the Waterford operation, said Roche, “we’re looking forward to many more successful years in Waterford.”
